Objective To investigate the expression of fascin and galectin-3 in cervical cancer and investigate the role of fascin and galectin-3 in lymph node metastasis and prognosis of cervical cancer. Methods The expressions of fascin and galectin-3 in 10 cases of normal cervical tissue, 32 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and 108 cases of cervical cancer were detected by immunohistochemistry. The expressions of fascin and galectin-3 were detected by immunohistochemistry. relationship. Results The expression of fascin protein in cervical cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and normal cervical tissues. The expression of fascin protein in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia was significantly higher than that in normal cervical tissues. The expression of fascin was closely related to tumor size and lymph node metastasis. Its expression in cervical adenocarcinoma was higher than that in cervical adenocarcinoma (P <0.05). The expression of galectin-3 protein in cervical cancer, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and normal cervical tissue was not significantly different (P> 0.05), but significantly higher in cervical non-squamous cell carcinoma than that in normal cervical tissue, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical squamous cell carcinoma The expression of galectin-3 was closely related to deep myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis. The expression of galectin-3 in cervical adenocarcinoma was significantly higher than that in cervical adenocarcinoma and cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Fascin and galectin-3 in cervical cancer is positively correlated. Conclusions Fascin and galectin-3 are involved in the development, infiltration and lymphatic metastasis of cervical cancer, both of which may have a synergistic effect during the lymphatic metastasis of cervical cancer. Fascin may have certain degree in differentiating cervical adenocarcinoma from adenocarcinoma Reference value, galectin-3 in the future may become one of the important diagnostic indicators of cervical adenosquamous carcinoma.
