Officials at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said that the GOES-6 meteorological observation satellite is becoming ineffective and images are expected to be stopped by the end of this year. GOES-6 life expectancy of 5 years, will expire by the end of this year. The star is responsible for observing the West Coast of the United States. The next launch of the Stationary Business Environment Satellite (GOES) will take place until July 1990. To this end, NOAA plans to undertake the task of observing the east and west coasts of the remaining GOES-7 satellites during this period. In winter, it will move to the Midwest and Hawaii
