为了利用现代自然科学理论,尤其是生理学、遗传学、生物化学,来选育优良品种,改进栽培技术,提高工效,增加产量及改进品质,我们与有关单位协作编辑出版《现代蔬菜科学丛书》。这部丛书由联合国北京蔬菜中心的顾问李曙轩教授和蔬菜育种学家曹寿椿教授主编,13个省市的11个研究单位和高等农业院校的专家、教授20余人参加编写。共分14册,计200余万字。详见丛书书目。 这部丛书的特点主要是:(1)反映世界蔬菜先进科学技术,为获得高产、优质、丰富多彩的蔬菜满足人民生活需要服务。(2)根据蔬菜生产上的重要问题,专题专册论述,深透中肯。(3)书中收集了国内外的有关新颖资料,也有作者自己多年的研究成
In order to make use of modern natural science theories, especially physiology, genetics and biochemistry, to breed fine varieties, improve cultivation techniques, improve ergonomics, increase yield and improve quality, we collaborate with relevant agencies to compile and publish the “Series of Modern Vegetable Science.” This series is compiled by Professor Li Shuxuan, consultant of the Beijing Vegetable Center and a vegetable breeder Professor Cao Shouchun.
