建设西部经济强区是广西第十次党代会提出的奋斗目标。经济强区既是现实经济发展水平的综合反映,也是潜在发展能力的体现,可以用区域竞争力来衡量。通过构建省际区域竞争力评价体系,建立相关模型,借助现代统计分析方法进行实证分析,发现广西的区域竞争力在西部省区中处于中下游水平。广西要建设西部经济强区,必须扬长避短,从单纯依靠比较优势向着力培育竞争优势转变。
The construction of a strong economic zone in western China is the goal set forth by the Tenth Party Congress in Guangxi. Strong economic areas are not only a comprehensive reflection of the actual level of economic development, but also an indication of potential development capacity, which can be measured by regional competitiveness. By constructing the appraisal system of inter-regional regional competitiveness and establishing relevant models, and using modern statistical analysis methods to make empirical analysis, it is found that Guangxi’s regional competitiveness is at the middle and lower reaches of the western provinces and autonomous regions. In order to build a strong economic zone in the western region, Guangxi must make its best by avoiding weaknesses and shift from relying solely on comparative advantages to focusing efforts on cultivating its competitive advantages.
