当前我国对外传播体系已初具规模,对外传播工作的成效也实现了持续提升。但与此同时,国际受众对我国英语媒体的“官方色彩”以及公信力仍旧存在质疑,面对这些质疑,我国英语媒体必须通过提升报道公信力来对自身形象进行优化,并在英语新闻报道中贴近受众、细分受众,从而有效提升英语新闻对外传播的针对性与有效性。
