茶毛虫(Euproctis Pseudoconspersa Strand)是茶树的一种主要害虫。长期以来,防治茶毛虫一直使用化学农药,由于害虫的抗药性增强,防效降低,采取加大用药量来提高防效,不仅会增加茶叶生产成本,而且会提高茶叶中化学农药残留量。1982年,四川万源县参加由四川大学,成都市农科所主持的应用茶毛虫核型多角体病毒(EPNPV)防治茶毛虫的试验。结果证明,防治茶毛虫具有安全、有效、经济、简便的特点。1983年,全县用该病毒防治第一、二代茶毛虫达91096亩次,防治效果很好,取得了显著的经济效益。
Tea caterpillar (Euproctis Pseudoconspersa Strand) is a major pest of the tea tree. For a long time, the control of tea caterpillars has been using chemical pesticides, due to enhanced pest resistance, prevention and control, to increase the dosage to increase control efficiency, not only will increase the cost of tea production, but also increase the chemical pesticide residues in tea. The results show that the prevention and treatment of tea caterpillars with safe, effective, economical and simple features. In 1983, the county used the virus to control the first and second generations of tea caterpillars up to 91096 mu times, and the prevention and treatment effect was very good with remarkable economic benefits.
