为改进硅橡胶热稳定性,曾进行了许多尝试,但迄今尚未获得有意义的结果。加入抗氧剂应增加它的热氧化稳定性,但由于硅氧链热降解反应放出低分子量硅氧烷环体所引起的失重仍无法解决。碳硼烷硅橡胶很耐高温,但价格昂贵,力学性能差。最近报道在343℃的热空气下老化24小时这种橡皮的伸长率就不令人满意。我们发现只要在甲基或苯基硅橡胶中加入少量的硅氮化合物就能大大降低它们在高温氮气下的失重(表1)。
There have been many attempts to improve the thermal stability of silicone rubber, but so far no meaningful results have been achieved. Addition of antioxidants should increase its thermal oxidation stability, but due to the thermal decomposition of silicone oxidation reaction caused by low molecular weight siloxane ring weight loss can not be resolved. Carbon borane silicone rubber is very high temperature, but expensive, poor mechanical properties. It has recently been reported that the elongation of an eraser is unsatisfactory for 24 hours in hot air at 343 ° C. We found that adding a small amount of silicon nitride to methyl or phenyl silicone rubbers can greatly reduce their weight loss under high temperature nitrogen (Table 1).
