书法的学习过程中,碑与帖是无法绕开的学习范本,二者有着不同的特点。日后有许多的书家希望将碑与帖相结合,突破以“二王”为代表的帖学的桎梏,由此便产生了碑帖结合之说。清末学者提出碑帖结合虽然是为了政治上的“托古改制”的需要,但从根本上讲是帖学没落后对为了对其所进行的改造,但这种改造一方面在某些时候违反了自然书写的规律,另一方面则发现这种所谓的结合只是回到了起始的“原点”。
