As plasma, liquid crystal and thin-film processes are maturing, a small, high-resolution flat panel display is moving from the lab to the application that caters to the industry’s pressing need for flat panel displays. The best of these panels will be presented at the 1982 Society of Information Display Society (SID) Annual Meeting in San Diego, California, May 10-14.
