以广东省金融消费者为对象,展开调查了金融消费者对自身权益的了解和保护的现状,可知消费者的知情权被忽略、隐私权保护不利、接受理财产品时被误导等,而我国在这些问题的解决,无论是制度或机制都处于薄弱环节,为稳定我国金融服务业的发展,借鉴美国在立法保护方面和纠纷解决方面对消费者的保护,文章建议开展金融服务消费者维权宣传教育活动、设置专门保护机构和投诉应对机制等途径加强对金融消费者权益的保护。
Taking financial consumers in Guangdong Province as an example, this paper investigates the current situation of financial consumers’ understanding and protection of their own rights and interests. It shows that consumer’s right to information is neglected, privacy protection is unfavorable, and misleading when accepting financial products. However, In order to stabilize the development of China’s financial service industry and draw lessons from the protection of consumers in terms of legislative protection and dispute resolution in the United States, both the system and the mechanism are at a weak point in resolving these problems. The article suggests that the publicity and education on the rights protection of financial service consumers should be carried out Activities, set up special protection agencies and complaint handling mechanisms and other means to strengthen the protection of the rights and interests of financial consumers.
