Japanese scientists found that green tea has the effect of inhibiting the spread of cancer cells. Researchers at the Tokyo Cancer Research Center survey found that people living in Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan were significantly less likely to die of cancer than other regions. Shizuoka is a region where green tea is produced, and residents here mainly drink green tea. The results show that tannin in green tea can inhibit the growth of malignant tumors.
