题记:卢凯森,1938年出生于山东潍坊,烈士后代。1955年考入南京工程兵学校学习。1957年毕业被广州军区分配至海南军区第一三二师三八五团任工兵连三排排长,时年19岁。在部队的培养下,长年爬山涉水,实践学习,日积月累,对海南全岛的地形地貌等重要地志,尤其是战略性防御工事配系,卢凯森几乎无所不知、无所不晓,以至1974年西沙自卫反击战次年八九月间,叶剑英元帅视察海南四十天,时任海南军区作战处副处长的卢凯森全程陪伴叶帅,就海南全岛防卫和南海西沙、中沙、南沙的海域防卫,向叶帅作了介绍并亲耳聆听了叶帅的战略高见。被叶帅赞誉为“军中活地图”。后来,卢凯森又以副师长身份,陪伴过贺龙元帅夫人薛明、罗瑞卿大将夫人郝治平,拜谒了徐向前元帅等,留下了一串串的感人故事。
