《毛诗.小雅.都人士》首章“彼都人士,狐裘黄黄。其容不改,出言有章。行归于周,万民所望”,《左传.襄公十四年》引与本章后两句相同,而服虔注以为逸诗。《礼记.缁衣》引与本章几乎全同,而郑玄注以为“此诗毛氏有之,三家则亡”。《左传》为古文经,为何所引诗见于同属古文的《毛诗》,服虔却以为逸诗?今本小戴《礼记》应该属于今文系统,所引诗,已往学者也都归入三家诗,而郑注为什么会说三家诗没有呢?这些疑点,透过出土材料《孔子诗论》,肯定先秦确实有异于齐、鲁、韩、毛四家以外的诗学,文字和诠释都有所不同,服虔所谓逸诗,当是见于这种类似材料;透过熹平石经,应肯定石经所载鲁诗确实没有《都人士》首章,齐、韩当同,郑玄注也没有问题。
