The central pillar grottoes are one of the most important cave rooms in the Buddhist grottoes of our country. The different forms of the grottoes are analyzed to understand the architectural images contained in them and to speculate that the archetypal architectural prototypes they wrote are not only of architectural history While at the same time perhaps helping to further differentiate such cave types from archeological significance. Taking the Kizil center pillar cave as an example, this paper discusses the spatial form of the central pillar cave and the architectural image it presents through the analysis of the spatial structure of the cave and the detailed structure practice.
