Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of HIF-1a and VEGF in placenta of pregnancy-induced hypertension and its prognosis. Methods: Sixty pregnant women with PIH in Gaoyang County Hospital from February 2010 to October 2013 were selected as the observation group. Sixty healthy maternal normal delivery in this hospital were selected as the control group. Placenta samples were collected from both groups and immunized The expression of HIF-1a and VEGF was analyzed by histochemistry and the prognosis was observed. Results: VEGF and VEGF were expressed in the placenta of the two groups. The positive signals of HIF-1a and VEGF in the observation group were stronger than those in the control group. The mean gray level of HIF-1a and VEGF in the placenta of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of huge children, neonatal asphyxia, hyperbilirubinemia and polycythemia in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: The high expression of HIF-1a and VEGF in pregnancy-induced hypertension plays a role in the development of placental blood vessels and may be the causative factor of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, which may have a negative impact on the fetus.
