Early enrolled in Shandong Arts College (formerly Shandong Institute of the Arts), later in Xinjiang “Kashi daily” any art editor. In 1978 admitted to the Central Academy of Fine Arts Master of Fine Arts History. In 1981 in the China Art Museum engaged in art theory research and painting creation. Now he is a librarian of the China National Art Museum, deputy director of the Theoretical Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, editorial board member of Fine Arts magazine, and invited professor of Shandong Art Institute.
