This article summarizes the principle, structure design and commissioning results of the rotary mirror high-speed spectral scanner.The recorded wavelength band of the instrument is 2500-6500 Å. The experimental results show that the resolution is about 1960 at a spectral scanning speed of 164 angstroms / second and an effective optical slit width of 1.3 A. The instantaneous spectra of mercury lamp pulsed light sources were recorded using this instrument.
