1999年5月6日,科学技术部农村与社会发展司在北京召开了以科教兴农为主题的座谈会,庆祝《中国农村科技》创刊五周年。会上宣读了中共中央政治局委员、人大常委会副委员长姜春云为《中国农村科技》创刊五周年发来的贺信以及何康、李振声、石元春、崔波等有关领导的题辞和祝词。科技部副部长韩德乾到会并作重要讲话,中国科协副主席、原中国农科院院长、本刊编委会主任委员王连铮及来自中宣部、科技部、国家计生委、团中央、全国妇联、中国农科院等单位的专家和有关领导畅谈了宣传农业科技成果、服务农业农村农民的重大意义和如何进一步办好《中国农村科技》杂志的意见。现将部分领导和专家的讲话发言摘登如下,以飨读者。
On May 6, 1999, the Department of Rural and Social Development of the Ministry of Science and Technology held a forum on the theme of revitalizing agriculture by science and education in Beijing and celebrated the fifth anniversary of the publication of “China’s Rural Science and Technology”. Jiang Chunyun, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, read out a letter of congratulation from the 5th anniversary of the founding of “China’s rural science and technology” and the related leaders such as He Kang, Li Zhensheng, Shi Yuanchun and Cui Bo. Han De, vice minister of science and technology to attend and make an important speech, vice chairman of China Association for science and technology, the former president of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the editorial board chairman Wang Lianzheng and from the Central Propaganda Department, Ministry of Science and Technology, State Family Planning Commission, Experts from the All-China Women’s Federation, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and other relevant leaders talked about the great significance of propagating the achievements of agricultural science and technology and serving the rural peasants in agriculture and how to further handle the opinions of the “China’s Rural Science and Technology” magazine.
