2010年7月,柯东海作为湖北省第六批援藏干部,任西藏山南地区曲松县委书记。2013年7月,援藏3年如期完毕,组织又委派他继续援藏,留任西藏山南地委委员、行署副专员。2016年7月,第二次援藏期满。援藏6年来,柯东海始终牢记组织重托,讲政治、顾大局、弃小我,时刻不忘用“进藏为什么、援藏干什么、离藏留什么”鞭策自己,精准把握援藏工作的长期性、群众性和科学性,为打造湖北援藏的升级版作出了应有的贡献。
