收视率不是评价一个电视台一个栏目的唯一标准,它只是标准之一。决定收视率的因素是多方面的。诚然,节目的思想内容和艺术质量是收视率高低的重要因素。不管外国电视还是中国电视,都有这种以质量取胜的好节目。但是,内容和形式都好的节目,不一定就有高收视率。因为其它影响收视率的因素也起重要作用。第一,要看一个专栏(节目)的方针和内容,是普遍性的,还是对象性的。一般说,普遍性的栏目(节目),收视率总是高于对象性栏目(节目); Ratings are not the only criteria for evaluating a section of a television station, it is just one of the criteria.
