每到一个陌生的去处,我都习惯将感受行著于笔端,即使有时游历轻快,有时感念重囿,都是一份赏物阅景的心情。而有些地方,游历过后却迟迟不能释怀,不是不想写,是怕我的文字辜负了那片山水。古莲花池就属于后者。古莲花池初名雪香园,建于公元1227年至1234年,为元代汝南王张柔居所,占地2.4万平方米。莲池自古就环水置景,以水为胜,因荷得名。到了清代,更因兴建了莲池书院而扬名中外,尔后成为皇帝行宫,至此达到极盛。
