国家统计局6月24日披露:今年1-5月,全国财政支出比去年同期增长31.1%,其中社会保障和就业支出同比增长41.2%。另有资料显示,2003—2007年全国财政用于医疗卫生、社会保障方面的支出分别比1998-2002年增长了1.27倍和1.41倍,而同期全国财政支出增长了1.19倍。以上中近期统计数据说明,在近几年财政支出中,社会保障支出的增幅皆高于总支出的增幅。这一“超常增长”现象,不仅表明近些年来各级政府对社会保障投入的力度持续增强,而且印证了在社会保障体系建
National Bureau of Statistics revealed on June 24: From January to May this year, the national fiscal expenditure increased 31.1% over the same period of last year, of which social security and employment expenses increased by 41.2% over the same period of last year. According to other statistics, expenditures on health care and social security in 2003-2007 increased by 1.27 times and 1.41 times respectively as compared with those in 1998-2002, while the national fiscal expenditure increased by 1.19 times over the same period.
