概述了锥花小檗在甘肃省陇西县的天然分布区,以及生物学和生态学特性,通过在塑料大棚与实验室不同环境条件、实验室有阳光和无阳光条件的对比发芽试验,提出了锥花小檗生产实践中较为理想的播种及育苗的方式方法,并提出锥花小檗是干旱地区尤其是西北干旱地区较为理想的护坡绿化、荒山绿化、水土保持的树种,同时锥花小檗因绿叶、黄花、红果均具观赏性,地上部分生长又极为缓慢,在园林绿化上是较理想的色块树种。
