2003年9月15日,坐落在浙江海宁紫微山南麓的“徐邦达艺术馆”举行开馆(展)仪式后,来宾和观众们参观了徐老捐赠的上百幅书画作品及他的友人们赠予的祝贺书画。人们在驻足观赏之间,看到了启功、程十发、周汝昌、朱家(?)、冯其庸、王伯敏等著名书画家之作,更是在一幅擘窠大书《国宝》作品前,忽然发现这乃是103岁老人袁晓园的力作。这幅作品笔力隽逸健雄,绰约多姿,融浑穆、(日失)丽于一体,是一幅不可多得的奇书。于是观众们在赞赏之余,很想了解这位百岁女人瑞的生平和她作书的情况,笔者由此撰写这一人物随笔,以飨读者。
