In order to explore the mechanism of cardiac adaptation to high-intensity exercise in the plateau or plateaus, the heart of the plateau was simulated by animal experiments and the expression of CuZn-SOD mRNA in myocardium was observed. The results showed that at a altitude of 5 000 m, 6% of rats had a swimming load of 10% for 10 minutes, resting for 10 minutes and 3 times for repetition. At 30 and 24 hours after exercise, CuZn-SOD mRNA expression showed two peaks, Respectively, increased by 47% and 112% respectively compared with the control group. However, the rats did not exercise in hypoxia alone, and the expression of CuZn-SOD mRNA increased only 30 minutes after hypoxia. The results suggest that, similar to classical ischemic preconditioning, high-intensity training in plateau or imitation plateau may be a “preconditioning” phenomenon induced by factors such as myocardial ischemia and hypoxia.
