The Stroh dislocation plugging model was used to explain the initiation of the cleavage crack at room temperature in Al67 Mn8Ti25 alloy with L12 structure. Calculations show that dislocations preferentially occupy 35 with the slip plane. 3 ° direction induced microcracks, leading to cleavage fracture. The results of the electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) test show that the room temperature cleavage fracture of Al67Mn8Ti25 alloy preferentially occurs at the {110} crystal plane
