新时期做好群众工作可以从三个方面着手:改正党员干部自身存在的问题、着力解决关涉群众利益的突出问题是做好群众工作的核心;探索符合实际状况的工作模式、实施契合群众实际需要的惠民项目是做好群众工作的关键;而最终完善工作作风建设机制、基层民主机制、干部考核机制与利益共享机制等相关机制是做好群众工作的保障。
