Reserved deformation refers to meet the tunnel clearance and structure dimensions, but also have to consider the initial deformation of the support, the reservation of the deformation of the initial tunnel support allows and reasonable. For the second-lane Ⅴ grade rock reserves the size of the deformation in the “Highway Tunnel Design Code” (2004) has made it clear that the combination of the actual depth of embedding, construction methods and support conditions, set aside 80n m ~ 120m. For loess tunnels prone to large deformations, the prescribed deformation limit of 120m m can not meet the requirements of initial support deformation under certain tunnel conditions, and the subsequent construction of the second lining tends to create intrusion.
