This paper presents and studies a method of ultrasonic butt welding that connects end-to-end metal parts. The authors have proposed ultrasonic spot welding with two vibrating systems, which is effective for welding thick metal plates, enabling the welding of aluminum plates about 10 mm thick, whereas conventional ultrasonic spot welding with only one vibration system, It is impossible.
