The reports on iron in human milk have been inconsistent in the past 20 years; normal values in the 1950s ranged from 0.6 to 1.3 mg / l, from 0.6 to 1.0 mg / l in the 1960s and from 0.2 to 0.8 mg / l in the 1970s. Due to the different sampling stages, it is difficult to make a unified assessment. In order to further observe the iron content of human breast milk in different stages of lactation, the authors used flame atomic absorption spectrometry to analyze long-term iron content in milk of 27 healthy and well-nourished urban lactating women; from the second week of breast-feeding Beginning, once every 1 to 2 weeks, 2 months later, once every 3 to 4 weeks, each collecting 24 hours of milk, before each morning milk and morning milk after sampling, mixed analysis A total of 229 samples were tested.
