Over the past three decades, the sudden emergence of popular culture has taken place along the entire transition of Chinese society. The spiritual core of popular culture seems to be completely politicized and fully embracing marketization. Paradoxically, however, just as the author puts it, popular culture is in fact filled with a wide range of political imagination and political awareness. Moreover, these political imagination is not the excuse of exuberance in the popular culture, but the most important raw material for conquering the audience and governing the imagination. The author attempts to expose his imaginary side through a brief analysis and draw back the literary and artistic imagination into the real politics. He points out that in contrast with the smear of the mass literature and art, the wrestling in the real world will tear his imaginary political imagination.
