关于在英语课堂中教师如何对学生的口头错误进行纠正以及何时纠正一直是英语教学研究者及英语教师们感兴趣的话题。教师在实际授课中采取的策略也有所不同,有的教师偏爱即时纠错(immediate correction),有的教师倾向延迟纠错(delayed correction)。其实,有关研究者早在多年前就声明:在语言课堂中,学生很难把注意力集中在教师的口头纠正上。关于这一点,教师应该给予足够的思考,采取有效的纠错策略,掌握正确的纠错的时机。
It has always been a topic of interest for English teaching researchers and English teachers that teachers correct mistakes made by students in English classes and when they correct them. Teachers also adopt different tactics in actual lectures. Some teachers prefer instant correction. Some teachers tend to delay correction. In fact, as early as many years ago, the researchers stated that in the language classroom, it is very difficult for students to focus their attention on verbal corrections of teachers. On this point, teachers should give enough thought, take effective error correction strategies, grasp the correct timing of error correction.
