Indigenous peoples in South America are mostly Indians, most of whom settle in the backward areas of the Andes and the Amazon. However, southern countries such as Chile, Argentina and Uruguay are the descendants of the Spanish white immigrants. Traveling in these countries, just as in Europe, like the rest of the world, the pursuit of urban construction and leisure and entertainment all catch up with the general level of Western society.
