ADS Pilot Special Injector II plans to commission a 10 m A continuous beam after accelerating the proton beam through a Cryomodule to 5 MeV to validate the high-flow superconducting linear accelerator technology for the low energy segment of the ADS. In order to deposit a beam power of 50 kW into a waste dump, a high-energy beamline needs to be built to transmit the beam from the superconducting section. Two sets of triple quadrupole lenses are used to control the beam envelope and the beam size of the refuse collection station. The horizontal and vertical emittance measurements are made using a diagnostic vacuum chamber. To avoid damage to the vacuum piping caused by the beam, the transmission line must ensure that the beam is delivered to the dumpster without any loss.
