The Daxigou iron ore deposit is the siderite ore deposit with the largest proven reserves in China so far, with a reserve of 302 million tons. The iron ore in the ore is mainly siderite and limonite. Due to its extremely fine grain size and low grade, gangue minerals, in addition to quartz, also contain ferrous silicate minerals such as chlorite and jasper.
