为了解正常成年人天然前牙形态及覆、覆盖的程度，为口腔修复临床恢复前牙牙冠、牙列的正常形态和我国人工牙的设计提供客观依据，任制做的义齿能达到自然美观，本文对５０４例成年人上下颌前牙牙冠的形态及覆、覆盖用游标卡尺进行了直接测量研究。上颌前牙总宽度平均为４６．７６ｍｍ，下颌前牙总宽度平均为３８．６０ｍｍ。根据上领中切牙牙冠指数值书上领中切牙分为五种类型，其中以中齿型为最多，上颌中切牙唇面形态与人的面型相协调。覆男性平均为４．０２ｍｍ，女性平均为；３．３０ｍｍ，覆盖男性平均为４．１１ｍｍ，女性平均为３．０６ｍｍ。前牙牙冠形态及覆、覆盖均值男性大于女性。左右同名牙无明显差异。本文活体直接测量结果较离体牙及在模型上牙冠形态测量更具真实性。
