幸德秋水(1871年11月5日-1911年1月24日)是日本明治时期的翻译家、记者、思想家、社会主义者、无政府主义者,1887年,进入自由新闻社供职,1898年,当上了《万朝报》记者,主要负责翻译、编辑欧美报刊杂志,1904年,与堺利彦合译《共产党宣言》,其中的汉语词汇对《共产党宣言》的中译本影响巨大。另外,他还著有《汉诗评释》,1910年6月,在计划谋杀皇太子的大逆事件中被捕,1911年,被判处死刑,当年1月24日被执行死刑[6]。幸德秋水大逆事件一直被日本社会认为是冤狱。本文拟以其“翻译之苦心”等原著为据,对幸德秋水的翻译理论及实践进行论述,以期对我国的翻译教学、翻译人才的培养、翻译实践和翻译理论的发展有所启迪。
Yoshitomo Akatsuki (November 5, 1871 - January 24, 1911) is a translator, journalist, thinker, socialist and anarchist in Meiji Japan. He joined the Free Press in 1887 and served in 1898 When he became a reporter of Wanchao Newspaper, he was mainly responsible for translating and editing European and American newspapers and magazines. In 1904, he co-translated “Manifesto of the Communist Party,” in which the Chinese vocabulary had a tremendous influence on the Chinese version of the Manifesto of the Communist Party. In addition, he also wrote The Interpretation of Chinese Poetry. In June 1910, he was arrested during the grand plan of murdering the Crown Prince. In 1911, he was sentenced to death and executed on January 24 of that year. Fortunately, the great fall events have been Japanese society considered a redress. This paper intends to discuss the translation theory and practice of Yushu Qiu Shui based on the original works such as Translation of Bitterness and so on, with a view to enlightening the development of translation teaching, translating talents, translation practice and translation theory in our country .
