Entering the 21st century, with the rejuvenation and development of China’s economy and the accelerating pace of China’s accession to the WTO, China’s meat food industry will enter a new period of development and face new development opportunities and challenges. At present, China’s livestock and poultry epidemic prevention, slaughter management, health inspections, meat quality and international standards require a wide gap, and the establishment of a quality management system with international standards as soon as possible has become a revitalization of meat in the new century.
