1926年1月,在国民党第二次全国代表大会上,根据中国共产党人的建议,通过了农民运动问题的决议案;设立了指导农民运动工作的农民运动委员会,以毛泽东、林祖涵等九人为委员。农民运动委员会决议续办第六届农民运动讲习所,由毛泽东兼任所长。毛泽东主持的六届农讲所较之前五届农讲所,有其突出特色:
