1961年4月14日,中共中央书记处候补书记胡乔木向毛泽东主席呈送了中央调查组关于湖南湘潭的韶山公社、湘乡的沙田公社社员强烈要求解散公共食堂的材料。主席于4月15日下午就批准同意解散公共食堂。主席办事历来慎之又慎,深思熟虑,这种关系到全国人民切身利益,即天大的事,仅一天就批下来了,是罕见的。这是为什么呢?
On April 14, 1961, Hu Qiaomu, alternate secretary of the CPC Central Committee’s secretariat, presented to Chairman Mao Zedong with the Central Investigation Team’s Shaoshan Commune about Xiangtan in Hunan Province and Shatian Commune members in Xiangxiang’s strong demand for the dissolution of the public canteen. The chairman approved the dissolution of the public canteen on the afternoon of April 15. The Chairman’s work has always been cautious and thoughtful. It is rare that this matter, which is of great importance to the immediate interests of the people throughout the country, has only been approved in a single day. Why is this?
