启功(1912-2005),姓爱新觉罗,字元白,满族。受业于著名史学家陈垣先生,长期从事中国文学史、美术史、古文诗词的研究和教学;当代著名书画家,旧体诗词享誉国内外,有诗、书、画“三绝”之称;著名文物鉴赏家和鉴定家,对书画和碑帖的鉴定尤为专精。已出版的主要著作有:《古代字体论稿》、《诗文声律论稿》、《启功丛稿》、《启功韵语》、《启功书画留影册》等。他对我说:“你看我现在真泄气,什么也干不了。”又说“文物出版社印《万岁通天帖》,要超过日本人,我现在真想从床上蹦起来大干一场,可惜力不从心呀!”
