诗歌是彰显了中华文化的博大精深。古诗诗行固定,体式固定。可分为四言、五言以及七言绝律。诗中包含丰富的意象,比如菊花代表高洁、脱俗。《清明》是古诗中非常具有代表性的一首佳作。这首诗出自唐代文学家杜牧之手。此诗写清明春雨中所见,语体朴素简单,借雨景抒发作者的凄凉心境。全诗运用从低到高、高潮放在最后的手法,余韵邈然,耐人寻味。此文从这首诗的写作背景和诗人的背景着手,运用奈达的功能对等理论、佐哈尔的多元系统理论以及严复的信、达、雅理论对这首诗英译文进行批评与赏析,包括英译文中的选词、格调韵律、修辞手法等。英译文中许渊冲、吴钧陶和孙大雨都采用了尾韵,而杨宪益、戴乃迭则采用了自由格调,没有采用尾韵。最后得出结论,诗歌的翻译不仅要注重形美和音美,也要关心意美,将原文想要表达的内容传达给读者。

This article starts from the writing background and poet background of this poem, criticizes and comments on the English translation of this poem by using Nida’s theory of functional equivalence, Zohar’s multiple systems theory and Yan Fu’s theory of letters, , Including the English translation of the choice of words, style rhythm, rhetorical devices and so on. Xu Yuanchong in English translation, Wu Jun Tao and Sun Dalayu have adopted the rhyme, and Yang Xiangyi, Gladys are using a free style, did not use the tail rhyme. Finally, it is concluded that the translation of poetry should not only pay attention to the beauty of form and beauty, but also of Italian beauty and the content of the original text to be conveyed to readers.
