自1991～1992年新疆人畜间布鲁氏杆菌病(简称布病)考核验收至2007年间,新疆95%以上的县市人间布病防治监测工作处于基本停滞状态,特别是2000年后更加突出,2007年布病防治工作被列入中央转移支付项目,瘫痪15年的新疆人间布病防治工作进入新的阶段,新疆维吾尔自治区疾病预防中心制订了《新疆人间布病监测实施方案》以及3～5年掌握和了解新疆人间布病疫情现状、疫情动态、流行范围等总体目标,逐步建立人间布病监测体系。
