老舍修订《骆驼祥子》一直被作为迎合新中国文学新规范的典型个案。通过作品细读与接受批评的综合分析,该书与“新规范”其实是貌合神离。老舍对“新规范”的投合,不仅以自我原则为前提,而且对初版本的挚爱使他在情感上最大限度地保留“历史”的完整性与真实性,从而使修订本依然具有独立的价值与意义,而这些远不是“规范性”话语范畴可以简单界定的。
