Previous arsenic determination methods must first wet digestion or dry ashing methods to destroy the sample of organic matter. Some people have reported loss of arsenic during the dry ashing process. The authors test the fish by wet digestion. The National Bureau of Standards added standard samples of arsenic in fruit leaves and marine fish. The method is cumbersome, time consuming, and poor in recovery and reproducibility. To this end, the authors developed the following dry ashing method.
