“西方既有的抽象艺术理论在定义中国抽象艺术时不再有效。”中国抽象艺术来源于西方现代抽象艺术的启迪和引领,但中国抽象艺术始终不是西方抽象的复制和翻版,也就是说中国抽象艺术有着不同于西方抽象艺术的本体特性。对于中国抽象艺术的特性,我国艺术理论界一直在进行研究并提出了各种各样的概念,因为西方既有的抽象艺术理论在定义中国抽象艺术时不再有效。高名潞曾经提出了“意派”概念,他似乎想用这一概念对应20世纪六七十年代日本出现的“物派”(Mono-ha)艺术,并且带
