American poet Frost’s famous poem “Make Up the Wall” can be described as win universal praise, but unfortunately, there are few comments on the “make-up wall”. This article tries to make a further analysis and interpretation of this poem based on the previous research results. The artistic tension produced by the three opposing and coexisting forces in the poem runs through the entire Psalm, with the three forces coming from “Something”, “Frozen Land” and “Hunter.” They symbolize God, nature and society respectively. This article examines how the aforementioned three forces maintain a delicate balance in their conflicts and tensions with each other.
