The geographical environment is very important in the formation of its unique history and civilization in the Mongolian Plateau. The vast mountain grasslands of the Mongolian Plateau form part of two civilized regions of the world, namely the Central Asia Oasis Civic District and the Eurasian steppe Civilization Belt that stretches from the Danube to the Great Wall of China. For a long time, the Mongolian Plateau was at the crossroads of world traffic. The two major arteries, the Great Silk Road and the Eurasian steppe corridor, also known as the Prairie Silk Road, connect the Mongolian Plateau with the centers of Eastern and Western Civilizations. The emergence of nomadic civilization is a legitimate response to the natural geography challenges of that particular place in Central Asia.
