Through the investigation and analysis of the status quo of human resources at all levels of health supervision agencies throughout the country, it is shown that the ranks of health supervisors in China have begun to take shape. The average composition ratio of supervisors in each monitoring agency in the survey area is over 50%, and 54.9% of supervisors have college education. For the above academic qualifications, 56.3% of the supervisors were promoted to above mid-level titles. However, the distribution of educational qualifications, professional titles, and specialties of health supervision agencies is uneven, and the overall quality of supervision personnel of district and county health supervision agencies is relatively low. The actual supply of personnel at various levels of supervision agencies is related to the population, economic conditions, topography and other factors and should be rationally allocated.
