洛南新区位于洛伊河盆地西部。新区建设前,该地段大部分为农田,大气降水、农灌回渗对地下水补给明显;新区建设后,大部分地段被建筑物、市政道路等覆盖,加上各种水系建设,对地下水环境产生了许多方面的影响。通过野外调查资料的分析,对这些影响进行探讨。结果认为:由于地面植被的改变,减少了土地裸露的面积,进而减少了降雨入渗及渠道、农灌回渗的补给量;水域景观及城市各种排放物的增加加大了地下水质遭受污染的机会;自备井开采量减少,开采更加集中;各种建筑对地下水径流及水源地保护区亦产生影响。提出调整水资源开采布局、控制建设中的污染、加强工业及生活污物的排放和处理、加强地下水的动态监测等。
